Barrett’s Landing and Pine Forest Acres Residents: WATER HAS BEEN RESTORED! Thank you for being so patient and understanding while we have navigated this situation! We are currently flushing to try to get all the air out of the lines so if it’s a little lower pressure that is why! Please remember you are still under a Boil Water Notice until we can get samples taken.

System Update for North and South Residents
We’re pleased to inform you that the issue at the Surface Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) has been resolved. Both filters are now operational and producing water.
The clear well is currently at 5 feet. Once it reaches 12 feet, we will begin pushing water into the distribution system.
Please remember: **All residents on the North and South Systems remain under a boil water notice** until further notice. We will continue to keep you updated as the situation progresses.

North and South System Residents: Our crew is working as best and as quickly as they can at getting the Surface Water Plant back up and running. At this time we still do not have an estimated time of restoration. As soon as we get that information we will pass it along to you.

Boil Water Notice for Trinity Rural Water Supply Corporation
ENTIRE SOUTH SYSTEM (2280011)
June 11, 2025
Due to no water caused by equipment failure at the Surface Water Treatment Plant on the Entire South System 2280011, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Trinity Rural Water Supply public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions).
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.
If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Trinity Rural Water located at 3841 FM 356 Trinity, TX 75862 or at 936-594-2192 Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. Emergency after hours: 936-594-2192(Phone is forwarded after 4pm to our on call personnel)
