CUSTOMERS WE NEED YOUR HELP! Help Us Secure $5 Million in Free State Grants for Our Water System!
The State of Texas has opened a rare, one-time $50 million grant pool specifically for rural Water Supply Corporations like ours. We are actively preparing a competitive application to secure up to $5 million to fund major infrastructure upgrades, correct water quality issues, and protect our local water supply.
However, the state's current draft rules restrict how much funding we can receive. We need your help to demand fairer rules for rural communities before the state deadline this Friday, July 17.
Please take 60 seconds to copy the short message below and submit it via: TWSC Grant Public Comment Form
https://forms.cloud.microsoft/pages/responsepage.aspx...
As a resident and water customer in rural Texas, I am writing to ask the Texas Water Development Board to raise the $50 million grant amount and remove the single-application restriction on the new WSC Grant program. Our local utility manages a complex water footprint that is in dire need of multiple upgrades to critical infrastructure. The state should allow funding to scale with the actual infrastructure needs of our community so that all residents are protected. Thank you.
Your voice matters. Showing the state that our community is actively watching will give our upcoming application a massive competitive edge. Thank you for your support!
