South and North System Customers Update:
We have begun pushing water through the system. Power has not yet been restored to our Surface Plant, so we are currently operating on generator power.
As usual, the tanks must fill in sequence: first the Pinecrest Tank, then the Lake L Tank. Once those are filled, water will move out to the North System and begin filling that tank as well. This process does take time to complete.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

UPDATE FOR ALL CUSTOMERS

January 28, 2026

Boil Water Notice – All Trinity Rural Water Supply Customers

After further investigation, it was determined that when power was lost last night and our generator activated, the generator malfunctioned and would not remain running. Generator repair technicians are currently en route to address the issue.

With power still out and Entergy providing an estimated restoration time of 2:00 PM, the entire North and South systems must be placed under a Boil Water Notice.

Chita System Customers:
We are aware that some parts of the system has discolored water this morning. While part of the Chita system was already under a boil water notice, the entire Chita system must now be included until proper flushing can be completed.

As a result, ALL CUSTOMERS of Trinity Rural Water Supply, across our entire service area, are under a Boil Water Notice until power is restored, water service is fully operational, the Chita system has been flushed properly and samples have been taken and passed.

We understand the significant inconvenience this causes and want to assure you that our crews and technicians are working as quickly as possible to complete all necessary repairs and flushing.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this time.
