As we prepare for the upcoming winter weather event expected in our area, we would like to share a few important reminders:
Remember the 4 P’s: People, Pets, Pipes, and Plants.
Please help check on your neighbors if you are able.
Our crews will be on call 24/7 for emergencies. If you experience a loss of water service, please check first to make sure your lines are not frozen. We would like to avoid any unnecessary travel if we can.
In the event of an emergency, please call 936-594-2192. Your call will be forwarded to our on-call staff.
Boil Water Notice Reminder:
Chita customers living in the following areas are still under a boil water notice:
Merry Wood Cove
Mason Loop
FM 356 Marina
Hillwood Acres
Dunaway
Lawrence Rd
Hideaway Rd
FM 355 (from the intersection of FM 356 and FM 355 down to Coker Rd)
You may also be noticing that your water is white, this is just air in the line. It is not harmful in any way.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to take required water samples. Please remember that boil water notices are precautionary. You may bathe, wash clothes, and use water as needed; the notice only recommends boiling water prior to consumption.
We have also been told that if the roads are not good the Fiber Crews will not be out doing any work, so we all may get a small break from them as well!
Office Closure Notice:
Our office will be closed on Monday as a precaution for the safety of our staff. We hope to reopen on Tuesday and will provide updates if there are any additional closures.

Notice about Electronic Statements

Our billing statements were sent out today, and payment will be due on February 10.
Your bill should be received no later than February 1. If you have not received your bill by that date, please contact our office and we will be happy to provide you with your balance due.
Please note that our electronic billing (eBill) system is currently not working. We are actively working on a solution, but at this time, eBills are not being sent.
Until a new software system is in place, please do not rely on receiving an electronic copy of your bill to make a timely payment. We will notify you as soon as the issue is resolved and electronic billing is restored.
